What is Football Career Simulator?
Football Career Simulator is a free text-based soccer career game you play in the browser. You start at 16 in a youth academy, then play season by season: train, fight for minutes, answer story events, move clubs in the transfer window, win trophies and retire with a legacy rating. There is no download and no account.
Is it a football or a soccer career simulator?
Both names mean the same game here: association football, called soccer in the United States. You play one player's whole career, from academy to retirement, as a goalkeeper, defender, midfielder or forward.
How do I get more playing time?
Your squad role (Star, Starter, Rotation, Bench or Reserve) comes from your overall rating against your club's strength, plus how much the manager trusts you. Good seasons and backing the manager raise trust. If you are stuck on the bench, take a loan to a smaller club or hand in a transfer request.
How does my player improve?
Young players grow every season, fastest when they play regularly and train at stronger clubs. Pick a training focus attribute and add extra sessions, but watch your fitness. Each player has a hidden potential; the scouts' star rating gives you a rough idea of it. Decline starts after 30.
Are the clubs and leagues real?
No. The world is fictional: 132 invented clubs in leagues across nine nations, with promotion and relegation every season. Players can come from 15 nations, and national teams play for the World Championship and Continental Championships.
What happens when I retire?
You can retire from age 32, and every career ends by 41. You get a career card with your appearances, goals, trophies, caps and a legacy tier from Prospect to Greatest of All Time. Your legacy score goes on the weekly leaderboard. If you had children, you can carry on as your son or daughter in the same football world.
Does my career save?
Yes. The game saves your career in this browser after every action when local storage is available. Clearing browser data or private browsing can remove the save.

Football Career Simulator is a free online soccer career game. You play one footballer from a 16-year-old academy prospect to retirement, one season at a time. Pick a position (goalkeeper, defender, midfielder or forward) and a nationality, then develop seven attributes, Pace, Shooting, Passing, Dribbling, Defending, Physical and Goalkeeping, into an overall rating. A hidden potential decides how far you can go; the scouts only give you a star estimate.
Minutes are earned, not given. Your squad role depends on your rating against your club and on the manager's trust, so a bigger club is not always the better move. Every summer the transfer window brings offers: a step up, a loan to get games, a new contract, or nothing at all if your season went badly. Story events, from a debut at 0-0 to a last-minute penalty, a night out before a derby or the captain's armband, change your career with every choice.

How to Play
- Start a random career or create your own player: name, nationality, position and gender
- Tap an attribute to set your training focus, then use the Training, Club, Staff and Life tabs
- Press Play season (or P), answer the season's events, and read your season summary
- In the transfer window, sign for a new club, take a loan, re-sign or stay
- Retire from 32 to see your legacy tier and score, then play on as your son or daughter
