IdleRealm has 25 milestones across 5 categories: Skill, Gold, Upgrade, Area, and Prestige. This is the complete list with requirements and tips for unlocking each one.

How Milestones Work

Milestones are tracked automatically as you play. When you complete one:

• A toast notification pops up celebrating the achievement
• The goal banner at the top updates to show your next milestone
• Completed milestones are saved permanently (they survive Rebirth resets)

You can see your current goal and progress in the banner that appears above the game tabs.

Skill Milestones (9 total)

Three milestones per gathering skill, at levels 5, 20, and 50:

Tips: The level 5 milestones come naturally within the first few minutes. Level 20 takes a moderate grind (faster with XP upgrades and prestige). Level 50 is a late-game goal that benefits hugely from stacked prestige XP bonuses (+10% per level). Focus on one skill at a time for fastest completion.

Gold Milestones (5 total)

Based on total gold earned (cumulative, not current balance):

Tips: Gold milestones track total earnings across your current run (not lifetime across rebirths). The first three come naturally. Tycoon (50K) typically coincides with your first Rebirth opportunity. Legendary Fortune (100K) requires either a long single run or the sell bonuses from Merchant's Eye + prestige levels.

Upgrade Milestones (3 total)

Based on Shop purchases:

Tips: First Purchase comes as soon as you buy anything (Auto-Sell at 500 gp is the natural first buy). Investor requires 5 total levels across any upgrades. Maxed Out is easiest with Auto-Sell (only 1 level to max) but note that it counts as "maxed" only if the upgrade's owned level equals its maxLevel.

Area Milestones (5 total)

Unlock new areas by reaching skill level requirements:

Tips: Note that Dragon Peak (Mining 70) does not have its own milestone. Mining unlocks 3 of the 5 area milestones, making it the most important skill for area progression. Speed upgrades for Mining are worth prioritizing early. The Abyss at Mining 85 is the hardest milestone in this category and requires significant XP stacking from prestige + upgrades.

Prestige Milestones (3 total)

Based on total Rebirths completed:

Tips: Reborn comes from your first Rebirth (aim for 50K gold, roughly 20 to 30 minutes). Seasoned at 5 rebirths is achievable in a few hours since each run gets faster. Eternal at 10 rebirths is the final prestige milestone and by that point your bonuses (+100% XP, +50% sell, +20% speed) make every run feel effortless.

Fastest Path to All 25

If you want to complete every milestone as fast as possible:

1. Rush Mining early for area unlocks (3 of 5 area milestones need Mining)
2. Buy Auto-Sell first for "First Purchase" and inventory management
3. Prestige at 50K gold repeatedly for fast prestige milestones
4. Stack XP upgrades + prestige XP to speed up level 50 skill milestones
5. Train one skill at a time to 50 rather than spreading XP across all three
6. Sell everything aggressively for gold milestones

The skill level 50 milestones and The Abyss (Mining 85) are the biggest time investments. Everything else comes naturally through normal play.
