How do you play Heardle?
Each round shows you progressive clues about a famous song. You start with the genre and decade, then can reveal rhythm patterns, title initials, the artist's first name, full artist name, and a lyric hint. Guess early for more points (6 points on clue 1, down to 1 point on clue 6). There are 10 rounds per game.
Is Heardle free to play?
Yes! Heardle on PlayBrain is completely free to play with no download required. Play directly in your browser on any device. There is a daily mode with the same songs for everyone, and unlimited practice mode.
Can I play Heardle unlimited?
Yes. While the daily mode gives you one set of songs per day, practice mode lets you play as many rounds as you want with random song selections. Switch between daily and practice mode at any time.
How does the scoring work in Heardle?
Points decrease with each clue you reveal. Guessing correctly on clue 1 earns 6 points, clue 2 earns 5 points, and so on down to 1 point for clue 6. The maximum score in a 10-round game is 60 points. Your best score is saved locally in your browser.
What is the rhythm pattern clue in Heardle?
The rhythm pattern clue shows the beat structure of a song using filled circles (strong beat) and empty circles (weak beat). This is a visual representation of the song's rhythmic feel to help you identify the track without audio.
