Dots and Boxes is the pencil-and-paper strategy game brought to life in your browser. Players take turns drawing a single line between two adjacent dots on a grid. When you draw the fourth and final side of a box, you claim it and earn an extra turn. The player who claims the most boxes wins. It sounds simple, but deep strategy emerges around chain control: avoiding giving your opponent free boxes while setting up long chains for yourself. Three AI difficulty levels range from casual to fiendishly strategic, with the Hard AI using chain analysis that rivals experienced human players.
