Cribbage is one of the oldest and most strategic card games still played today, dating back to the 17th century. In this browser version you face a smart AI opponent in a race to 121 points. Each hand begins with six cards dealt to each player, and both discard two into the "crib," a bonus hand the dealer scores later. The pegging phase has you alternate playing cards toward a running total of 31, scoring points for hitting 15, making pairs, or completing runs. After pegging, you count your hand for fifteens, pairs, runs, and flushes. Mastering which cards to keep, which to discard, and when to play aggressively during pegging separates beginners from skilled players. The full cribbage board tracks every peg.
