About Chain Reaction

Chain Reaction is a strategic board game played on a grid where players take turns placing orbs in cells. Each cell has a critical mass based on the number of adjacent cells. When a cell reaches critical mass, it explodes and distributes one orb to each neighboring cell, potentially triggering chain explosions as those cells also reach their limits. The result is spectacular cascading reactions that can flip the entire board state in a single move. Players compete to claim all cells on the grid by converting opponents' orbs during chain explosions. The game requires thinking several moves ahead to set up devastating chain reactions while preventing your opponent from doing the same. A single well-placed orb can trigger a cascade that eliminates most of your opponent's territory. It is an elegant strategy game where explosive comebacks are always possible.

How to Play

  1. Click on an empty cell or one of your own cells to place an orb.
  2. Cells explode when they reach critical mass, spreading orbs to neighbors.
  3. Chain reactions convert opponent orbs to your color.
  4. Eliminate all opponent orbs from the grid to win the match.
