Privacy Policy — Tile Match: Triple Puzzle
Gameplay diagnostics and optional session recording
In updated versions that include diagnostics, we collect crash categories and a short code-location fingerprint to identify bugs. We do not send exception messages, stack traces, account details or anything you type.
If you choose to allow gameplay recording, PlayBrain can reconstruct a sample of your play using screen changes, taps, timing and game state. This is not video or audio recording. Nonogram captures puzzle marks and Idle Tycoon captures business and currency state. Other games provide action timelines. Recordings use a random session identifier, not your advertising ID.
Recording is off until you allow it. Change your choice in Settings, Gameplay recording. Declining does not affect gameplay, rewards or purchases. Each capture lasts at most ten minutes. Captures become unavailable after seven days and are deleted during our daily cleanup. We use our existing backend, not a third-party session-recording service.
Your choice and at most one pending recording are stored on your device. Recordings are encrypted in transit and available only to our private review tools. We use them to identify bugs and confusing gameplay, not for advertising or tracking across apps.

This policy describes how Tile Match: Triple Puzzle ("the App") handles information. The App is a single-player offline puzzle game. We try to collect as little as possible.
The short version
- No account, sign-in, name, email, or any personal detail is needed to play — or accepted.
- Your progress is saved on your device. If you are signed in to Google Play Games, a copy is also backed up to your own Play Games account (Google's Saved Games) so it can be restored. We cannot read it.
- We do not collect raw exception messages or stack traces. Limited diagnostics and optional gameplay recording in updated versions are described in the notice above.
- A small banner sits under the board while you play, in its own space, never covering the tiles. A short full-screen advert may play when you leave a finished level, never during one and never in your first few. Every other advert waits until you press a button carrying a play symbol.
- The App sells optional in-app purchases through Google Play. Google takes the payment; we never see a card number, a name or an address.
What is stored on your device
The App saves the following to your device's local storage:
- the highest level you have reached,
- the level you are part-way through — which tiles you have taken, what is in your tray, how many tray slots you have, and how many undos, shuffles, extra slots and set clears you have used on it,
- your chips, the tile finishes you own, and the one you are using,
- your pearls, the boosters you are holding, how far up the daily gift ladder you are, and which setter ranks have paid out,
- which of the in-app purchases you own,
- your sound on/off preference.
Your saved progress is stored on your device and is deleted when you uninstall the App. If you are signed in to Google Play Games, a copy is also backed up to your own Play Games account (Google's Saved Games) so it can be restored on a new phone or after a reinstall. Google keeps that copy under its own privacy policy and you can delete it from the Play Games app; it is not sent to us and we cannot read it. We do not collect names, email addresses, contacts, location, photos, or health data. We have no way to identify you.
What is sent to our own servers
The App sends anonymous gameplay analytics to a server we run at playbrain.games. It is how we find out whether the game is being played and where people stop.
What is sent:
- a random identifier the App generates for itself on first launch, so one installation can be told apart from another,
- gameplay events: sessions and screens viewed, a level started, completed, failed or left unfinished, in-game currency earned and spent, optional adverts offered and how they ended, adverts between levels, shop and purchase outcomes (product name and result only, no price, receipt or transaction id), features used, the rating prompt, the More games sheet, and actions the game refused,
- the app version and the platform.
What is never sent: your name, email or any account (the App has none), your advertising ID or any hardware identifier, your location, anything you typed, or your contacts, photos and files.
That random identifier is not linked to you, is not shared with anyone, is not used for advertising, and is discarded when you uninstall. Events are queued on the device and sent in batches over HTTPS, so playing offline loses nothing. To stop collection, uninstall the App; to request deletion, email [email protected].
Rating prompt
The App may occasionally ask you to rate it using Google Play's own in-app review dialog. Google decides whether that dialog actually appears; we only ask. Any rating you leave goes to Google Play, not to us, and we cannot see who left it.
In-app purchases
The App offers optional purchases: packs of pearls, a setter's kit, a booster bundle, and the removal of the two adverts you did not choose (the advert that plays between levels and the banner strip under the board). Every one of them is optional and nothing in the game is locked behind any of them.
Google Play takes the payment. We never see your card number, your name, your billing address or your email. Payment is handled entirely by Google under the Google Privacy Policy.
The App asks Google Play Billing directly, on your device, which purchases you own. No purchase-management service sits between the App and Google Play, and no third party receives a purchase identifier from us.
Daily reminders
The App can send you a local reminder that the daily gift is waiting, and a nudge if you have not played for a couple of days. It is off until you switch it on in Settings, and switching it on is the only thing that asks Android for notification permission. The reminder is scheduled and fires on your own device: nothing is sent to a server, there is no push service and no third party involved. Turning the switch off, or revoking the permission, cancels everything already scheduled.
Advertising (Google AdMob)
The App includes Google's Mobile Ads SDK to offer optional rewards: you may choose to watch a rewarded video in exchange for extra undos, shuffles, an extra tray slot, or continuing a level after your tray fills. Every button that costs a video is marked with a play symbol before you press it. Two adverts are not optional: a short interstitial may play when you leave a finished level, never during one, never in your first few, and never more often than a fixed cap allows; and a small banner strip sits under the board while you are playing, in its own reserved space below the buttons, never covering the tiles or appearing on any other screen. Every level can be completed without watching a single video; the power-ups are conveniences, never a requirement.
When an ad is requested, Google may collect:
- your device's advertising identifier,
- device information (model, operating system, language, coarse region),
- your IP address,
- interaction with the advert (views, taps).
The rewarded videos and the full-screen advert request non-personalised ads only, which limits Google to using this data for frequency capping, ad measurement and fraud prevention rather than building an advertising profile of you. The banner is requested with the SDK's default settings, so whether it is personalised follows your answer on Google's consent form.
If you are in the EEA or the UK, Google's consent form is shown before any ad is ever requested, and nothing is requested until you have answered it. If you decline, no ad is loaded and the buttons that would have offered one are simply hidden. Every level can be finished without them, so declining never blocks your progress.
Google's handling of this data is governed by its own policies: Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites/apps that use its services.
You can reset or delete your advertising identifier at any time in your device settings (Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads).
Audio and the microphone
The App plays sound and music. It does not record audio and has no microphone access. The RECORD_AUDIO permission that the audio library would otherwise request is explicitly blocked, and is absent from the App's manifest. The only permissions the App ships with are internet access (for adverts, analytics and purchases), audio settings, and vibration, plus notification permission, which is only requested if you switch on daily reminders.
Children
The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect any data from them. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will address it — though note the App has no mechanism to receive personal information in the first place.
Your rights
Because we hold no data about you, there is nothing for us to export, correct or delete. To remove everything the App has stored, uninstall it or clear its storage in your device settings. For advertising data held by Google, use the controls linked above.
Changes to this policy
If the App's data practices change — for example if a different ad format or an analytics tool is ever added — this policy will be updated before that version ships, and the date above will change.
