Combine 1+2=3, then double up. How high can you go?
1. Use arrow keys or swipe to slide all tiles.
2. 1 and 2 combine to make 3. (1+1 or 2+2 do not merge!)
3. From 3 onward, equal tiles double: 3+3=6, 6+6=12, and so on.
4. A new 1 or 2 tile spawns after each move.
5. The game ends when no moves are possible. Go for the highest score!
Tile Merge is a free browser-based number puzzle inspired by Threes. Unlike 2048, you cannot merge two 1s or two 2s. Instead, 1 and 2 combine to form 3, and from 3 onward equal tiles double. This unique mechanic requires careful planning and creates a deeply satisfying strategy game. No downloads or sign-ups required.
Tile Merge is a number-sliding puzzle inspired by the classic Threes game. Unlike standard 2048-style games, Tile Merge introduces special pairing rules: tiles with values 1 and 2 combine to form 3, and from there, only identical tiles merge (3+3 becomes 6, 6+6 becomes 12, and so on). This extra layer of tile relationships demands more careful planning than traditional merge puzzles. You swipe in any direction to slide all tiles at once on a 4x4 grid, and a new tile appears after every move. The goal is to reach the highest possible number before the board fills up with no valid merges remaining. Keeping your largest tile anchored in one corner while building a chain of descending values beside it is the foundation of any strong strategy. Free to play in your browser with no download.
