How to Play Quordle
- 1. Four words at once — You're trying to guess 4 different 5-letter words simultaneously.
- 2. Shared guesses — Each guess applies to ALL 4 boards. Letters are evaluated independently on each board.
- 3. Nine tries — You get 9 guesses total to solve all 4 words. Boards lock with a checkmark when solved.
- 4. Smart keyboard — The keyboard shows the best status for each letter across all boards. Green means correct on at least one board.
- 5. Daily mode — Everyone gets the same 4 words each day. Share your result and compare with friends!
About Quordle
Quordle takes the word-guessing formula and multiplies the challenge by four. Instead of solving a single five-letter word, you must crack four words simultaneously using shared guesses. Each attempt you type appears across all four boards at once, so every letter placement carries four times the strategic weight. With only nine total guesses to uncover all four solutions, there is very little margin for error. Color-coded feedback on each board helps you track which letters belong where. Quordle rewards vocabulary breadth, pattern recognition, and the ability to juggle multiple possibilities in your head. It is the perfect step up for anyone who finds single-word puzzles too easy.
How to Play
- Type a five-letter word and press Enter to submit your guess across all four boards
- Check the color hints on each board: green means correct position, yellow means wrong position, gray means not in that word
- Use information from all four boards to narrow down each solution simultaneously
- Solve all four words within nine guesses to win the round
