Place dominoes on the grid so each colored region's pip total matches its target number. Think carefully about which domino goes where!
Place all the dominoes from the tray onto the grid. Each domino is a 1x2 tile with pip (dot) values on each half.
Regions: The grid is divided into colored regions, each with a target number. The pip values of all domino halves in a region must sum to exactly that target.
Placing: Click a domino in the tray to select it, then click an empty cell on the grid. Click a selected domino again (or press R) to rotate it.
Removing: Click any placed domino on the board to pick it back up and return it to the tray. Use Undo to step back moves.
Checking: When all dominoes are placed, click Check to see if your solution is correct. Regions with wrong totals will be highlighted in red.
Pips is a dice-based strategy game where you score points by making clever combinations with rolled dice, similar to Yahtzee but with unique scoring mechanics and a fresh visual style. Each turn you roll a set of dice and choose which to keep and which to re-roll, up to three rolls per turn. After rolling, you assign your dice to one of several scoring categories, each rewarding different combinations like pairs, three of a kind, full houses, straights, and the coveted five of a kind. Strategic category selection is crucial because each category can only be used once per game, and choosing the wrong moment to fill a high-value category can cost you points later. The game tracks your best scores and average performance, letting you see your strategic improvement over time.
