It aims like a slingshot. Press anywhere on the course and pull away from the ball: it goes the opposite way, along the line from your finger through the ball. Pull further for more power and let go to putt. While you pull, a meter fills, an arrow grows from the ball and a short dotted line shows where the shot starts out. Move back onto the ball to cancel.
How many holes are there?
27 holes in three worlds of nine. Classic has tidy greens, windmills, bumpers and ramps up to raised greens. Funky is neon tracks with loops, boost pads, launch ramps over gaps, a bobsled pipe and a moving ferry. Peaks mixes everything and is harder, with open planks that have no walls. Finishing Classic opens Funky, and Peaks opens once Funky is finished with 36 stars.
What do the power-ups do?
Roll the ball over a power-up and it acts at once, for that shot. Sticky stops the ball dead on its next landing or wall, so it can land a jump on a small island. Big makes the ball larger so the cup takes it more easily. Ghost lets it pass through the next wall it meets. Bounce makes floors and walls springy so it can hop a low block.
How do stars and par work?
Three stars at par or better, two at one over par, one for any other finish. If the ball goes off the course it costs a stroke and comes back to where you hit it, and after par plus four strokes the ball is picked up for no stars. Every hole has been proven possible within par.
What are the daily hole and the duel?
The daily hole is a new hole every day, the same for everyone, and finishing it on consecutive days builds a streak. A duel is a world's nine holes against three computer golfers, Pip, Rex and Ace, who play each hole after you. A ghost of your own best run also plays alongside you on every hole you have finished before.
What do coins buy?
Coins come from finishing holes, new stars, your first hole-in-one on each hole, the daily hole, duels and the daily gift. They buy looks only: ball skins and trails. Nothing in the game changes how well you play.
Is Mini Golf 3D free?
Yes. Mini Golf 3D is free to play on PlayBrain, with no download and no sign-up. Your holes, stars and coins save in this browser, so use the same browser to carry on. It needs a browser with WebGL, which every current desktop and phone browser has.
About Mini Golf 3D
Mini Golf 3D: Crazy Courses is putt-putt on floating islands in the sky, played in full 3D in your browser. The camera follows the ball through 27 holes in three worlds. Classic starts gently with windmills, bumpers, a sweeper bar and ramps up to raised greens. Funky turns the lights down for neon tracks with loops, boost pads, launch ramps over open gaps, a bobsled pipe and a ferry that slides between islands. Peaks mixes it all on narrow planks with no walls. Roll over a power-up and it acts straight away: sticky to land a jump, big for an easier cup, ghost through a wall into the next lane, bounce over a block. Every hole has been proven possible within par, the ghost of your best run plays alongside you, and the daily hole and the duels against Pip, Rex and Ace keep it going after the last world.
Prefer a flat course seen from above? Mini Golf is our classic top-down 2D game with 27 holes of its own.
