About Imposter

Imposter is a social deduction word game where you must figure out who does not belong. Each round, most players receive the same secret word, but one player (the imposter) gets a different word or no word at all. Players take turns giving one-word clues about their secret word, trying to prove they know it without being too obvious and tipping off the imposter. After the clue round, everyone votes on who they think the imposter is. The imposter wins by avoiding detection or correctly guessing the group's secret word. Played against AI opponents in this version, Imposter captures the tension and bluffing of party social deduction games in a single-player format that is endlessly entertaining.
