How to Play Hive Words

1.

Create words from the 7 honeycomb letters. Every word must be at least 4 letters long.

2.

Every word must include the golden center letter. Words that skip it won't count.

3.

Letters can be reused as many times as you like within a single word.

4.

Scoring: 4-letter words = 1 pt. Longer words = 1 pt per letter. Pangrams (all 7 letters used) get a +7 bonus!

5.

A pangram is a word that uses all 7 letters at least once. Finding a pangram earns a huge bonus — the word's normal score plus an extra 7 points on top. Every puzzle has at least one pangram hidden in its word list. Pangrams appear with a star symbol in your found-words list.
How does scoring work in Hive Words?
4-letter words earn 1 point. Words with 5 or more letters earn 1 point per letter (so a 7-letter word = 7 points). Pangrams — words using all 7 honeycomb letters — get their letter-count score plus a 7-point bonus. Your rank advances from Beginner all the way to Queen Bee as your score climbs toward the puzzle's maximum.
What ranks can you achieve in Hive Words?
There are 10 ranks: Beginner (0%), Good Start (10%), Moving Up (25%), Good (40%), Solid (50%), Nice (60%), Great (70%), Amazing (80%), Genius (90%), and Queen Bee (100%). Reaching Genius means you've found 90% of the maximum score. Queen Bee means you've found every word in the puzzle — a serious achievement!
