Frequently Asked Questions about Eldergrind

What is Eldergrind?
Eldergrind is a free persistent browser MMO inspired by old-school RuneScape. Train Mining, Fishing, and Combat from level 1 to 99, gather and sell resources on a shared player marketplace, fight monsters for coins and gear, and climb global leaderboards. Your character is saved and waiting whenever you return, and a live realm chat connects you to everyone else playing.
Is Eldergrind free and do I need to download anything?
It is completely free and runs in your browser with no download. You can start playing instantly as a guest, then claim your character to a PlayBrain account so your progress is saved across every device.
How does training work?
Pick a resource node or monster and your character trains it on a 0.6 second world tick, just like RuneScape. Mining and Fishing gather ores and fish; Combat fights monsters for coins and rare drops. Each skill follows the classic 1 to 99 experience curve, so reaching level 99 is a long, rewarding grind. Progress accrues while the game is open.
Can I trade with other players?
Yes. The shared marketplace lets you list anything you gather for sale and buy what other players have listed. It is fully asynchronous, so you do not need to be online at the same time as the buyer or seller. Prices are set by players, creating a real economy.
How do I share feedback?
Eldergrind has an in-game realm chat and global rankings. Use the feedback link in the game to report bugs or suggest what should be added next.

About Eldergrind

Eldergrind is a persistent browser MMO that channels the addictive skilling loop of old-school RuneScape into a game you can open in a single tab, no download or install required. You start in the town of Eldergrove with a bronze sword and a handful of shrimp, and from there the realm is yours to grind: swing a pickaxe at copper, tin, iron, coal, gold and mithril rocks; cast a line for shrimp, trout, salmon, lobster and swordfish; or draw your weapon against rats, goblins, skeletons and the dreaded Dark Knight. Every skill climbs the classic 1-to-99 experience curve, so each level is a meaningful step on a journey that can last weeks. Everything you gather has value on the shared player marketplace, where prices are set by the community and a real economy emerges from thousands of small decisions.
