Deep Mine draws inspiration from classic idle mining games like Mr. Mine and the prestige loop mechanics pioneered by Cookie Clicker. You start with nothing but your pickaxe and a shallow dirt layer, gradually hiring miners, acquiring drills, and unlocking automation systems that let the mine run itself. Each of the 50 layers introduces new ore types — from basic clay and coal near the surface to mythril and void crystals deep in the earth — with exponentially increasing values that make every new zone feel like a major breakthrough. Boss layers at depths 10, 20, 30, 40, and 50 punctuate the progression with HP walls that require sustained effort to overcome. The three-tier prestige system (gems, relics, artifacts) gives the game months of depth: each reset resets your mine but leaves you permanently stronger, so the 10th prestige run blasts through early layers in minutes instead of hours.
