Draw paths to connect matching colored dots!
Draw paths to connect matching colored dots. Fill every cell on the board to solve the puzzle!
1. Tap or click a colored dot to start drawing a path.
2. Drag through adjacent cells (up, down, left, right) to draw your path to the matching dot.
3. Paths cannot cross each other or share cells.
4. Goal: Connect ALL dot pairs AND fill EVERY cell on the board.
5. Tap an existing path to redraw it, or use Undo to remove the last path.
6. Earn up to 3 stars based on how quickly you solve each level!
Connect the Dots is a free online flow puzzle game. Draw paths to connect pairs of same-colored dots on a grid. The twist: your paths must fill every single cell on the board, and they cannot cross or overlap. With 16 handcrafted levels across 4 grid sizes (5x5 through 8x8), a timer, move counter, and star ratings, it's the perfect brain teaser for puzzle fans. Works on desktop and mobile with both mouse and touch controls. No downloads or sign-ups required.
Start with dots that are farthest apart or in corners, since their paths are the most constrained. If two dots are adjacent, connect them last since their path is trivial. Look for bottleneck cells that only one color can pass through. On larger grids, work from the edges inward. If you get stuck, undo your last path and try a different route. The key insight: every cell must be filled, so think about space coverage, not just dot connections.
Connect the dots puzzles originated in children's activity books in the early 1900s, where numbered dots revealed hidden pictures when joined in sequence. The digital version takes this concept further by adding timed challenges and increasingly complex grid-based patterns. Instead of simple pictures, you draw paths between matching colored dots on a grid, filling every cell without letting any paths cross. The puzzle trains spatial reasoning, route planning, and visual pattern recognition. Each level has exactly one solution, which means every cell placement matters. The satisfaction of watching a complete grid light up with perfectly routed color paths is timeless and deeply rewarding.
