What Is Sedecordle?

Sedecordle is the ultimate multi-word Wordle variant. You solve 16 five-letter words simultaneously with just 21 guesses. Every guess you type applies to all 16 boards at once, and you get color feedback on each one.

If you have played Dordle (2 words), Quordle (4 words), or Octordle (8 words), Sedecordle is the next step up. It completes the progression: 2, 4, 8, 16.

How It Compares to Octordle

Octordle gives you 8 boards and 13 guesses. Sedecordle doubles the boards to 16 and gives you 21 guesses. The ratio is slightly tighter in Sedecordle, so you need to be more strategic with your opening words.

Strategy Tips for 16-Board Play

• Open with vowel-heavy words like CRANE, STAID, and LOUSY. These cover common letters quickly across all 16 boards
• Scan the grid after each guess. Look for boards with multiple green tiles, as those are close to solved
• Solve easy boards first to free up guesses for harder ones. A board with 4 greens should be prioritized
• Use the zoom feature to check specific boards. Tap a mini-board to see letter details
• Track your keyboard. The shared keyboard shows which letters are confirmed or eliminated across all boards

Guess Budget Management

With 21 guesses for 16 words, you average about 1.3 guesses per word. That means most boards need to be solved in 1-2 targeted guesses after your opening plays. Spend 4-5 guesses on broad letter coverage, then shift to solving individual boards.
