Cooking Dash Free Online | Restaurant Kitchen Game Tips

Cooking Dash is a time-management restaurant game where customers arrive with food orders and you have to cook their dishes in the correct ingredient sequence before their patience timer hits zero. Five rounds, six recipes, three hearts, and increasingly chaotic service. Free to play at PlayBrain with no download.

How to Play Cooking Dash

When the round starts, customer cards appear showing what each person wants. Click a customer card to select their order, then look at the prep station and click ingredients in the exact sequence shown in their recipe. Get the order wrong and you get a red flash but no penalty. Run out of time and the customer leaves, costing you a heart.

Lose all three hearts and the kitchen closes.

Controls:

  • Click a customer card to take their order
  • Click ingredient buttons at the prep station in sequence
  • Complete the dish and it auto-serves

All 6 Recipes (Ingredient Order Matters)

DishSequence
๐Ÿ” BurgerBun โ†’ Patty โ†’ Lettuce โ†’ Bun Top
๐Ÿ• PizzaDough โ†’ Sauce โ†’ Cheese โ†’ Pepperoni
๐Ÿฃ SushiRice โ†’ Nori โ†’ Fish โ†’ Wasabi
๐Ÿฅ— SaladBowl โ†’ Lettuce โ†’ Tomato โ†’ Dressing
๐ŸŽ‚ CakeBase โ†’ Cream โ†’ Frosting โ†’ Cherry
๐Ÿฒ SoupBowl โ†’ Broth โ†’ Veggies โ†’ Spice

Memorizing these is the single biggest skill improvement you can make. Once you don't have to think about which ingredient is next, you can focus on managing multiple customers at once.

Scoring Breakdown

Each served dish earns base points plus bonuses:

  • Base: 100 points per completed order
  • Speed bonus: Up to 100 extra points based on remaining time (faster = more)
  • Combo bonus: Consecutive serves add 25 extra points per chain (2x = +25, 3x = +50...)

Heart bonus at game end: 200 points per remaining heart if you complete all 5 rounds.

Round-by-Round Strategy

Rounds 1-2: Customers are patient, timers are long (28s and 24s). Use this time to practice the ingredient sequences. Don't rush.

Rounds 3-4: Things speed up. More customers arrive faster. Prioritize customers with the least time left. Always switch to the most urgent order, not necessarily the one you were already on.

Round 5: 14 seconds per order, 8 customers to serve. This round requires scanning all cards constantly. A customer sitting idle for 5 seconds can already be at 35% time. Check timers before picking your next order.

Tips for Higher Scores

Juggle efficiently. When you're halfway through building a dish and a new customer arrives who needs the same ingredient, don't let them wait โ€” you can swap back and forth between simple orders.

Never let a customer leave if you can help it. Hearts are more valuable than speed bonuses. A combo can be rebuilt; a lost heart cannot.

Start with easy dishes when choosing between customers. Salad and Burger are simpler sequences than Sushi or Cake. Clearing an easy order fast builds your combo and frees attention for complex ones.

Build combos deliberately. A 5x combo adds 100 extra points per order. In a high-pressure round, combo play doubles your score.

What is Cooking Dash and how do you play?
Cooking Dash is a time management restaurant game where you seat customers, take orders, cook food, serve dishes, and collect payment โ€” all against a timer. Customers lose patience if they wait too long. You upgrade your restaurant and equipment between levels to handle higher customer volumes and more complex orders.
Is Cooking Dash free to play in browser?

What's the strategy for getting perfect scores in Cooking Dash?
Prioritize customers by patience level โ€” serve impatient customers first. Chain actions efficiently: start cooking one dish while serving another. Use upgrades that increase serving speed first, then cooking speed. Never let a station sit idle; queue multiple items. In later levels, mentally route your character's movement to minimize backtracking.
